Ellen Robinson is a health communications professional with nearly 25 years of experience supporting federal agencies, nonprofit organizations and foundations. As the Director of Information Resources and Outreach at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), she provides strategic direction in how to best promote health center accomplishments relating to clinical workforce, quality improvement and efficiency. She develops products in various formats aimed at informing, promoting, educating and enhancing the sharing and exchange of information between NACHC, national partners, its constituencies, clinicians, and the general public.
Previously, Ms. Robinson was the Director, Health Promotion Group, at a Washington, DC area management consulting firm. She also served as a member of the Operations Team, supervising 14 public health professionals. Robinson led multi-million dollar budgets to provide communications and program support for various U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agencies.
Robinson earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism (Public Relations Sequence) from the University of Maryland, University Honors Program and a Master of Health Science Degree in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She also has a Project Management Professional Certification.
