Martin Edlund is a founding member and Chief Executive Officer of Malaria No More, where he leads strategies to substantially increase global resources for innovative global health programming and malaria. Edlund also serves as Executive Director of the Health Finance Coalition, which is working to scale private- and blended-finance investments to achieve Africa’s public health goals. He lived and worked in West Africa as Malaria No More’s Director of New Programs, where he helped launch novel mosquito net distribution, fever testing, and public health education campaigns with country leadership and telecom partners in Senegal, Cameroon, Chad, Nigeria, and Tanzania. Prior to joining Malaria No More, he was a journalist for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The New Republic, among other publications, and a political consultant in Washington, D.C., specializing in online campaign strategies. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
